Metallic Eye Shadow

All that glitters may not be gold, but Amy Adams’s shimmery eye shadow is the exception, delivering the best of both elements. We love how the 24-karat shade made a statement without dominating her look. Channel the star’s look by working with a shiny loose powder shadow that can be layered for maximum color payoff. Loose pigments are the ultimate multi-taskers, and can be worn anywhere from your lips to your lids depending on the look you want to create. To really make your eyes pop, add a drop of water to the powder and mix until it forms a crème-like consistency. Then, use your finger to dab the product onto your eyelids. The water allows the pigment to really stick to your eyelids, and increases the color’s vibrancy.
