As the holidays approach think about adding some subtle sparkle to your beauty routine. We loved the hint of silver layered beneath Carrie Underwood's smoky eye at the 59th Annual BMI Country Awards in Nashville. To get the look, start by rimming your upper and lower lashline with metallic pencil. The trick is in the layering: Once you've created a shimmery outline, top it off with a deeper, more sophisticated shade of shadow. Sliver plays well with black, grey or even plum but also try gold and copper with chocolate brown and hunter green. Add some lashes and a glossy lip and let the festivities begin.
