As the spokesperson for Mark cosmetics, it's no surprise that Ashley Greene has some pretty expert tricks for applying her flawless makeup. Take the lush, fluttery fringe makeup artist Matthew VanLeeuwen gave the star for the 2011 MET Ball in New York City. "I applied the mascara by wiggling the wand back and forth at the base of lash to deposit color at the roots," he said. "Then, I painted the length of the lashes to get a wispy finish." Before applying mascara to the bottom lashes, VanLeeuwen wiped the wand clean. "That way, the color is very lightthis technique gives a glam, young starlet look." We couldn't agree more.
