Metallic Eye Shadow

A full-on smoky eye can be too much work for the summer months, so make like Freida Pinto and opt for a single color in a deep bronze instead. At the New York City premiere of her upcoming film Trishna, Pinto’s simple eye makeup had a sultry feel thanks to her shadow’s antiqued hue. When working with powder shadows, be sure to smooth on an eye primer before blending on the shade. This adds extra staying power, and makes the product’s color really pop. Amp up your eye shadow by dipping your brush into a coral blush, and adding just a touch of the powder onto the center of your lids. The extra touch of warmth adds a worn-in effect to the already glamorous look.
