Nude Lip

It goes without saying that a nude lip is one of the most versatile makeup looks. The understated flesh tone makes for the perfect complement to a bold smoky eye, but looks just as elegant when worn on its own. We love Mandy Moore’s take on the classic look, pairing it with groomed brows, simple eye liner, and a sheer blush. If your pucker isn’t as full as Moore’s, wearing a nude hue that won’t make your lips disappear can be tricky. Fake a bigger pout by picking up a taupe lip pencil and using it to define areas like your cupid’s bow, and lower lip. The absence of red pigments create a slight shadow effect, making your lips look bigger than they actually are. Then, use a brush to fill in the rest of your pucker with a tawny flesh-toned lipstick. Make sure to really blend out the edges created by the liner to minimize the contrast between the two shades. The result should be a natural-looking shadow, rather than a two-toned lip.
