Headscarves

GET THE LOOK: Whether you call it a turban, wrap or babushka, a colorful silk scarf is a stylish way to mask uncooperative hair. Tie your mother's patterned Pucci for daytime flair, or opt for a solid color with a brooch pinned in for an evening out.
INSIDER TRICK: Fold a large square into a triangle, and drape it over your head with the long edge across your forehead. Pulling the two ends back across the sides of your head, tie the ends into a knot behind your head. You can secure with bobby pins near the nape. Wearing it down on the forehead usually looks best; pushed back looks more suitable for an old-fashioned maiden. BUY ONLINE NOW: Emilio Pucci silk scarf, $270
