Smoky Brown Eye

Smoky eyes don’t always have to be varied shades of grey and sable. Case in point: Michelle Dockery’s understated makeup. We loved the subtle neutrals shadows she chose, and how the effect doesn’t dominate the rest of her look. Try out her brown smoky eye by applying a fawn-hued cream shadow onto your lids. Thanks to its velvety texture, blending the color to create that ultimate smoky effect is foolproof. Follow with a quick swipe of dark brown liner, then smudge around the edges to create a natural graduation between the two shades. Finish by sweeping a light ecru color onto your brow bone to highlight it.
