Gone are the days of stiff, over-styled coifs. Follow Emily Blunt’s lead and opt for a loose, touchable updo. We love how her style is relaxed, but maintains a polished, red carpet feel. Blunt’s hairstylist Laini Reeves started by rough-drying the actress’s strands, then loosely wrapped them around a two-inch curling iron to create texture. “Using bobby pins, I twisted the hair back into the nape of the neck, and let pieces fall to create a soft appearance,” Reeves said. “I finished the look with a quick spritz of shine spray, and set with a hairspray for extra hold.”
