Balancing clean lines and blended edges for a defined sable eye can be tricky, but at the L!fe Happens premiere in Century City, California, Krysten Ritter got it just right. “I was inspired by Krysten’s stark black and white dress, and I knew I wanted her makeup to be strong and modern,” her makeup artist Amy Nadine said. Nadine started by filling in the actress’s brows, then swept a shimmery crème shadow over her lids. With a soft black pencil, Nadine lined Ritter’s inner waterline, then smudged the same pencil along her upper and lower lashline. To ensure a subtle fade, she blended a black shadow over the liner, and finished with a generous coat of mascara.
