Allover Bronze

January in New York can leave a complexion dull and pale. Yet, Elizabeth Banks managed to pull off the most natural bronze glow at the premiere of her new film Man on a Ledge. Her secret? Earlier in the week she had an appointment with St. Tropez's spray tan expert Fiona Locke. Locke says, "Elizabeth went for a pastel tan," which means a lighter, softer tone. Locke recommends building color with a gradual self-tanning lotion over the course of a few days, being sure to exfoliate first for an even finish. An illuminating lotion along the cheekbones and d├ęcolletage add an ideal touch of shimmer and prevent the tan from looking flat and one-note.
