Long-Lasting Smoky Eye
For the premiere of her new movie The Oranges, Leighton Meester's makeup artist, K.C. Fee, working for Tarte, needed to make sure her smoky eyes would last through a full day of press conferences and a romp down the red carpet. Fee prepped Meester's lids with an eye primer to give her shadow something to adhere to. Layering a shimmering golden peach over soft beige, she then smudged taupe inside Meester's creases for added definition. "The final touch was a whisper pink shimmer in the inner corners of her eyes," she says. Fee kept the rest of the starlet's face neutral, noting, "Leighton looked like a modern day Audrey Hepburn with her ponytail and bangs. A fresh, natural look was a must."
