Bumped-Up Ponytail
Mini-pompadours aren't just for the Jersey Shore. At the Venice Film Festival premiere of Carnage, Kate Winslet showed us a more dressed-up version by adding height to a simple ponytail. Winslet's style can be re-created easiest on unwashed hair. If your strands are clean, give them a blast of dry shampoo to make them less slick. Take your top section of hair and secure it at your desired height with crisscrossed bobby pins. (Backcomb first if you really want the lift to stay put.)
