Color-coordinating your dress and makeup may seem dated, but by concentrating a pop of color in just one area, Rose Byrne got the effect just right. We love how her lips mirrored her Monique Lhuillier dress, but the product's slight pink undertone offered just enough contrast. "It's kind of cute! It's a little offset," she told us at the grand reopening of Sephora's Times Square location in New York City. Try a similar effect by pulling a color from your ensemble, but steer clear of pastel shades, which can look clownish. Pick a bold wine, red, or magenta hue, and wear it with confidence. "I say go for it! Mix it up," Byrne added. "Fashion should be fun, and it's a little young and fresh without being too matchy-matchy." Great advice!
