Layered Smoky Eyes
Smoldering, smoky eyes show no sign of slowing down on the red carpet—but the multi-dimensional metallic version on Zoe Saldana at the Miami premiere of Colombiana just took the trend to the next level. Her makeup artist, Vera Steimberg says she, “mixed crème and powder shadows to achieve the perfect consistency.” After gliding a golden brown shade over the center lid to add warmth, she lined Saldana’s lower lashline with black pencil. “I finished with individual false lashes and a coat of black mascara,” says Steimberg. We love the way it compliments the gold embroidery on her custom Balmain gown.
