To look at Minka Kelly's perfectly tousled waves at the Salvatore Ferragamo 2012 Resort Show, you’d never know the humidity was sweltering. Her hairstylist, Mark Townsend says working a few drops of a lightweight oil serum through damp hair was the key. After rough drying, Townsend separated her hair into 3-inch sections, sprayed them with hairspray and curled. “After that, I misted her whole head with a texturizing spray—I even had her flip her head upside down to spray underneath for that great, second day texture,” he explains.
