Cherry Red Blush
We often get asked what makeup to pair with bold crimson lips. (Liquid liner? A smokey eye? A bronzey glow?) Amber Heard effortlessly answered the question for us at an art show in New York City this week. Pay special attention to your foundation and concealer to get a clean, flawless coverage, then swirl a true red blush along your cheekbones and temples. Concentrating the color on the apples of your cheeksas we often advisecan look fake and doll-like in this situation. However, a diffuse wash of a corresponding tone brings color to your face and balances the vivid pop on your lips. Employ the technique with other lipstick hues, too: Coral lip and coral blush; pink gloss and pink cheek stain.
