Effortless Twist
For the premiere of Green Lantern in Los Angeles, Blake Lively's hairstylist Rod Ortega was inspired by the star's dress, a Chanel piece from the haute couture collection. He misted beach spray onto wet hair before drying with a diffuser. (The effect is more textured than a standard blowout.) He defined a few extra spirals with a 1/2-inch curling iron and pinned all the hair over onto one shoulder. "To create that effortless vibe, I fishtail-braided three sections and finished with a high shine lacquer hair spray," Ortega told us.
