Heidi Klum's Intricate Bun
Heidi Klum's hairstylist Michel Aleman gave the star a summery but sophisticated bun for the amFar Inspiration Gala in New York City this week. "It's better not to have hair too clean," he advises. "I start with lots of glossing cream to really slick it back." Next, Aleman separated the hair into three sections: From the forehead and back, and one on either side of the head. He twisted those sections, clipping in place with a pin. "I think of the twists as little flowers or shells—always pull the hair open so it won't look too flat or tight," he says. He finished by tucking away the ends and dosing his clustered creation with a mist of strong-hold hairspray.
