Balanced Skin Tone
For the premiere of Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides in California, makeup artist Matthew Van Leeuwen kept Lancome ambassadress Penelope Cruz's skin fresh and slightly pale, but with a touch of warmth. Want a similar effect? Brush a silky, apricot bronzer on clean skin, paying special attention to the bridge of the nose, cheekbones and hairline. Follow with a swirl of pink and gold-flecked blush on the apples of the cheeks. The balanced combination of the two powders keeps you from looking too pale and too tan.
