A pair of groomed eyebrows can transform your entire look, but between well-blended eye makeup or a saturated lip, they can often be forgotten. Before adjusting your own set with tweezers, fill them in completely using a pencil or matte eye shadow to prevent over-plucking. Your perfect brow shape is closest to how they grow in naturally—give or take a few stray hairs—but always be sure to make an appointment with a professional before making any drastic changes. The beginning of your eyebrow should line up with the upper bridge of your nose, as plucking past that point creates a too-spaced effect. To determine the placement of your arch, line any item with a straight edge with the bridge of your nose, then tip it slightly to diagonally cross over the center of your pupil. Your arch should be placed at the end point where these sections meet. And remember, your eyebrows are sisters—not twins. While they should resemble each other in terms of symmetry, an exactly-mirrored set doesn’t look as natural, so don’t stress over the subtle differences!
