We've all been taught that blush is best applied lightly along the ridge of the cheekbones. But take Halle Berry's look from an American Film Institute event in Hollywood. The star swirled a warm apricot hue on the apples of her cheeks and let the color drift slightly inwards towards the nose. There's something unstuffy and youthful about the effect.
