Most hairstylists rhapsodize over the beauty of second day hair. But not Charles Baker Strahan, who created Whitney Port
's flawless blowout for the 2010 CFDA Fashion Awards in New York City. "Whitney had just gotten off a plane and showered, so I was able to start with a clean base," he said. Day old hair is thought to have a more workable texture, but a dab of body-enhancing mousse gave Strahan all the leverage he needed to blowdry her strands with a roundbrush. "I rolled the ends around the brush for a little flip, then went over them again with a curling iron," he said. "It was meant to feel fresh and light." Mission accomplished.
