“For her hair, I wanted a glamorous ‘50s wave with a daytime feel,” Emmy Rossum’s hairstylist, Brian Magallones said about her look. We loved the style at New York Comic Con so much, we asked him to take us through the process. Starting with clean, damp hair, he began by blow drying Rossum’s hair straight with a large round brush. To give the hair shine and keep frizz at bay, he used a combination of gel and serum drops onto hair shafts. With a 1” iron, he curled her hair and veiled with a flexible hairspray. Then, with a paddle brush, he relaxed the curls into soft waves and finished the look with a light mist of shine spray.
