At the 16th Annual Screen Actor's Guild Awards, Paula Patton shimmered in earthy shadow. "I love using rusts and deep bronzes to create depth on the eyes," said her makeup artist, Fiona Stiles. "The colors add dimension without getting too muddy or dark." She also gave the lids a wash of peach, which worked as a highlighter. But Stiles had another secret besides the perfect palette: "I skipped the liner all together, just using shadow and lots of mascara, top and bottom. Defining the eyes with shadow alone keeps it light and fresh."
