To prepare Audrina Patridge for the Avatar premiere in Los Angeles, makeup artist Kelsey Deenihan paid mind to the shade of her skin from head to toe. "Audrina's face is naturally two shades lighter than her bodywhich means she is protecting it from sun damage and using her SPF!so I had to use a matte, medium dark foundation to match," she says. But how do you use a brownish foundation without looking muddy? "Make sure to bring the color all the way down the neck," says Deenihan. "And be extra careful to blend along the hairline."
