Bumped Up Half Up-Do
Take your half updo to the next level. For a sexy yet casual take on the classic style, follow Rachel Bilson’s lead and bump up the volume at the crown. To get her look, celebrity hairstylist Jamal Hammadi started with damp hair and blow-dried her roots to accentuate the hair’s natural texture. Then, using a 1” iron, she curled her ends. To achieve her voluminous crown, she took the top half of her hair, sprayed with a texturizer and teased. Then, for a tame yet full-bodied bouffant, Hammadi brushed the hair back and pinned. Finish the look with sleek, curled tips with light-weight leave in oil.
