Corkscrew Curls

GET THE LOOK: Whether you have ringlets, coils, or springy spirals, your Botticelli curls may suffer from the blahs because of your shampoo. “Lather has no inherent cleansing value and the harsh detergents take the moisture out of curly hair, which is already dry by nature,” says curl expert Lorraine Massey of Devachan Salon in N.Y.C.
INSIDER TRICK: To get fresh locks like Rachelle Lefevre, wash hair with a lather-free hair cleanser, like No-Poo, then dry your coils by scrunching hair under a diffuser. "The direct flow of air from a regular hairdryer nozzle will break curls apart and create frizz," adds Massey.
