At the New York premiere of The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, Rooney Mara paired her red lipstick with full lashes and strong eyebrows. "She was a dream to work with," said makeup artist Kate Lee, who created this look for Mara. "Because her dress was so magnificent, we wanted her makeup to appear effortless." Lee lightly groomed the actress's brows with a pencil, then set them with a swipe of black mascara. Be sure to use a light hand when penciling in arches, and follow their natural shape to avoid looking artificial. If black mascara intimidates you, use a clear mascara or brow gel to keep them in place.
