GET THE LOOK: Makeup artist Sam Fine, who did Queen Latifah's makeup, calls this look "Classic with a hint of color." On the eyes he used an eggplant shade of purple as the dominant color, which he says is much easier to wear than lilac.
INSIDER TRICK: Using CoverGirl Eye Enhancers in Ice Princess, Fine applied the eggplant shadow to the crease of the eye and underneath it for definition. He paired that with an opalescent beige shadow on the lid to open up the eye. He finished with eyeliner on the top for definition and "tons of lashes."
