Smooth Buttery Lips

GET THE LOOK: Chapped lips make a seasonal cameo right around the time that Frosty and Rudolph come on the scene. And if you have cracked or peeling lips, there’s no way to rock a fierce red lipstick like Rachel Weisz. But according to Kansas City dermatologist Dr. Audrey Kunin, there's more to a kissable pout than swiping on a stick of lip balm in wintertime.
INSIDER TRICK: Check your ingredients! “Cinnamates, which give candy, gum and toothpaste a cinnamon flavor, can dry and irritate your lips," says Kunin. "And some lipsticks contain a preservative, propyl gallate, that cause irritation on many people’s lips.” Skip these irritants to keep lips looking silky smooth.
