GET THE LOOK: "We wanted her hair to look sexy, beautiful and lush," says hairstylist Robert Ramos, who styled Jessica Alba's hair when she hosted the launch of his new eponymous hair product line. "It was a modern sexy side plait, but not pulled over. I started a braid at her side part and wrapped it around her head diagonally, then secured it at the base of her head so that the rest of the hair flowed over one shoulder," added Ramos, owner of Estilo Salon in Los Angeles.
INSIDER TRICK: Ramos prepped Alba's hair with leave-in conditioner, followed by volumizer, which added a soft wave to her hair and gave it a little bit of hold. He then created a short French braid to keep hair in place from the part to the nape.
